I THOUGHT we were bright and lively for 75 minutes – the only problem was we were 3-0 down in the first 15 minutes.

It does not matter how bright and lively Connor Thompson and Carl Brown are going forward if we are going to concede such easy goals at the back.

We had four defenders around the scorer of their first goal and yet he had time to bring it down and bury it from three yards.

For the second goal, it was a simple ball over the top which time and again is our undoing.

I have lost count of the number of one-on-ones that Bully has been left to deal with in recent matches.

Clearly Lyndon is struggling at the moment; he is an honest lad and he knows it.

He had a baby over Christmas and he has missed quite a lot of training.

Connor played in the middle – where England Schools use him rather than on the right wing – and I think it suits him.

With Draycott back on Saturday, perhaps we will play him in the hole behind the two strikers.

As for the defence, we keep getting knocked back for loan players but we are still working hard to bring some cover in.

Until we do, I don’t have the personnel to change things around.
