A VERY unusual live performance happens at Brewery Arts between Saturday, February 26 and Sunday 27 when creative people from all over the area will take part in Overnight Sensation - a weekend of sponsored performance to raise money for the Brewery Arts building project.

Mystery special guests will join a wildcard mix of creative people in an onstage marathon that starts on Saturday, February 26 at 1pm and is designed to go on until Sunday at 9.30pm.

If you're a performance poet, writer, storyteller, actor, journalist, performing arts student, drama group or school drama class, this is your chance to tread the boards of Gloucestershire's most attractive small theatre space.

You can do as little as five minutes or up to 15 minutes, read a poem, tell a story, declaim a speech from your favourite play or read from your latest novel.

Even if you don't want to perform, come and cheer those who are braving the spotlight in support of Brewery Arts.

"Overnight Sensation will be creative, informal, probably with moments of utter chaos - and cracking good fun," said Chloe of the Midnight Storytellers who is co-ordinating the event.

Sponsorship forms and more details are available from Cat Page at Brewery Arts on 01285 657181 and cat@breweryarts.org.uk But don't delay.

Get in touch with Cat no later than Monday, February 21 if you want to take part, so that all performers can be given a time.
