STAFF from St James' Place in Cirencester strapped on their walking boots for an arduous trek covering the Dartmoor Tors last month.

A group of 27 staff members from the Cirencester head office of the wealth management company raised a total of £80,000 for charity.

They were among the 131 walkers from across the UK who completed the Ten Tors challenge to cover ten of Dartmoors famous tors over a 25-mile route.

The total raised will go to the St James' Place Foundation which funds initiatives for children's charities and the hospice movement.

Since the foundation was established in 1992 it has raised more than £15million, which has been distributed to 700 charities.

Nearly 80 percent of St. James‚s Place staff and members make regular contributions to the foundation via a monthly covenant.
