Deryck Nash - Liberal Democrat
First elected in 1993, Deryck has been Cirencester's county councillor ever since. He is also a district and town councillor and a former mayor.
He has been involved with organisations such as CCVS (Dial-a-Ride) and is a governor at Deer Park and Chesterton schools. Education and activities for young people are particularly important to him.
John Burgess - Conservative John has worked in local government in Cirencester for over 25 years and has been a cabinet member at CDC for the past four years.
He said large sums of money will be saved by abolishing central government targets and allowing local councils to get back to serving the community.

Shaun has been a county councillor since 1997 and will continue to campaign for a duel carriageway through Nettleton Bottom, a notorious bottleneck in the country.
He will give local residents a say on the future restoration of the Cotswold Water Park.

Darren believes that the Conservative council has taken voters for granted, has failed to deliver on its promises and has wasted money and the opportunity to make Gloucestershire a better place.

Tony has served 12 years as a Conservative councillor and has served as lead cabinet member for community and adult care.
He would like to develop community safety, such as the proposed pedestrian crossing in Tetbury and reactive signs in Avening and Beverston. Another high priority is to improve support for the older people in the county.
