CANDIDATES for Gloucestershire County Council's elections on June 4 have been announced.

All 63 seats are up for election this year and votes can be registered up until May 19.

The nominations are now closed and the list of candidates in the Cotswolds is below.

In recent years turnout at the polling stations has dwindled and director of law and administration, Nigel Roberts, is urging people to make their vote count.

"Whatever your political views, remember that local democracy is important - use your vote on June 4 and have your say," he said.

The elected councillors will represent their divisions of the county for the next four years.

For full details of each candidate will be published on this website.
