BOMB disposal experts were called into two Cotswold villages this afternoon to deal with hand grenades found.
Police received a report that a resident had found what is thought to be a British Second World War hand grenade as they cleared out a barn in Foxcote at 12.50pm today.
Police received a second similar call at 1.30pm reporting that a hand grenade had been found at the back of a shed in Rissington Road, Bourton-on-the-Water. Both were removed and safely disposed of by the bomb disposal unit.
Police urge anyone who finds a similar item not to touch the object but to call police right away.
