A MAN in his 50s has admitted communicating with 30 young girls while under a court order for sex offences in a shocking case.

Sean Lock, 53, of Jack Russell Close, Stroud, was in communication with the girls despite being subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

Court records show Lock admitted communicating with 'no less than 30 girls' under 16, which put him in breach of the SHPO.

The order was imposed in November 2023.

Lock appeared at Gloucester Crown Court to face six charges.

He admitted four breaches of the SHPO plus two charges of engaging in sexual communication with a child under 16.

The first charge relates to an incident on October 13, with second incident occurring two days later.

Regarding the SHPO breaches, the court heard that between December 2023 and November 2024, Lock deleted his internet history, used software capable of bypassing web monitoring and installed Snapchat. Lock will be sentenced on September 29.
