The cast of St Joseph's School & Nursery have returned with a ground-breaking production of Hannah and the Tyger.
Set in 1703, the play tells the story of a young barmaid, Hannah Twynnoy, who couldn't resist the temptation of stroking a tiger from a visiting circus, leading to the greatest unsolved mystery of Malmesbury.
The play was written by local artistic powerhouse, John Hughes and Mike Scanlon.
Eighty children, aged four to 11, performed to a packed audience in Malmesbury Abbey on Thursday, July 2.
Headteacher Nick Morrell said: "We are so fortunate at St Joseph’s to benefit from Debbie Cambray-Smith’s inspirational leadership of music and drama at our School.
"All children at St Joseph’s learn collaboration, teamwork and empathy through their singing and performing – skills that are incredibly important in today’s complex world."
