A LUXURY retirement village in Cirencester is celebrating two years since its official opening.
Siddington Park, a Rangeford Villages retirement site off the A419, is marking the anniversary with a community of 126 owners, an award-winning restaurant and a wellbeing programme.
The village was officially opened by TV personality Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen on July 2, 2024.
Since starting out in 2023 with 27 apartments, Siddington Park has grown steadily.
It reached 50 owners in 2024 and saw 91 apartments occupied by the close of 2025, with 126 owners calling it home today.
The Orangery restaurant, which has a 68-cover dining room serving 700 to 800 covers a month, has become the social heart of the village.
Signature dishes including the celebrated Orangery Lasagna and the Cheese Soufflé have become firm favourites.
71 per cent of produce is sourced from within 30 miles of the village.
Siddington Park also took home two prestigious accolades at the 2025 Retirement Living Awards, with these being Best Lifestyle or Wellbeing Facilities and Outstanding Integrated Retirement Community - with care assistance.
A team of around 40 staff support owners across the village's range of services and activities, from the monthly owners’ events programme to private dining celebrations and a calendar of community fundraising.
Recent highlights include owner Val’s fundraising event for Parkinson's UK, which raised £1,700, Macmillan Coffee Mornings, support for the Cirencester Rotary golf day and hosting the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals charity dog show.
The second anniversary was marked with a celebration dinner attended by all 126 owners.
It was described by Siddington Park as ‘a warm and joyful occasion that reflected the close-knit community Siddington Park has become in just two years’.
Looking ahead, the summer programme offers a Health & Wellbeing Festival on Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30 led by Dr Dawn Harper, a Terrace Takeover on Saturday, July 25 with live music, a barbecue and an outdoor bar and an Outdoor Film Weekend on August 22.
Will Ryan, village manager at Siddington Park, said: "Two years ago, we opened our doors with a vision of what retirement living could look like - not a place to slow down, but a place to truly live.
