At one time there was only one Santa who visited Ciren, writes Robert Heaven
In years gone by he would arrive by train from the North Pole via London and Ciren station and be paraded to Bailey's store in Cricklade street.
Bailey closed in the 1960's and Santa took up residence in several other shops including Rackhams and Gardiners.
