MEMBERS from Cirencester Town FC say they are grateful for the continued support shown to them after last year's voluntary relegation.
Gardiner Haskins has confirmed they will again sponsor the home shirt of local men’s football club Cirencester Town Football Club.
In February 2023, the two iconic Cirencester 'institutions' announced a partnership between the historic football club and the home centre.
In the last year the relationship has gone from strength to strength with new signage, support with decorating the exterior stands as well as the sponsorship of the 2023/24 home shirt and the football club’s popular Junior Day.
In May a statement was released by the football club stating that they had to take voluntary relegation for the 2024/25 season due to the cost and travelling associated with their current league.
However, this has not deterred one of their proudest sponsors who say they will support the club however they can.
Karley Robbins, marketing manager said: “Although the news is sad for local football, we are seeing the many positives in this and will support the football club however we can.
"By making this decision the football club are ensuring longevity of the club for future generations and building solid foundations for future success.
"We are looking forward to visiting the Talent Hire Stadium frequently in the 2024/25 season especially with a few local derbies on the cards.”
Scott Griffin, football secretary said: “We are delighted to once again have the continued support from Gardiner Haskins with their sponsorship for this season.
"The interaction and relationship with Gardiner Haskins has been second to none and is different in many ways to what I would describe as a ‘normal sponsorship’.
"Gardiner Haskins really have the community at heart and as a local business within Cirencester for so many years it really does feel special to the football club but also the community and we are grateful for their support."
