A TEENAGER from the area recently represented Team GB at the Europe & Africa Youth Waterski Championships.
Harrison Crossland, aged 17, from Fairford, finished eighth overall in the competition which was held in Recetto, Italy from August 21 to August 25.
Competing as part of GB’s under-17s squad, Harrison finished just off the podium in slalom with a joint 4th place and was 6th in tricks.
The teen - who goes to Rendcomb College - also recorded personal bests in both events.
Elsewhere, in the competition the Team GB squad picked up six medals – one gold, two silvers and three bronzes, all coming in the Under-14s age category.
