A MAN from Cirencester who was caught using a phone while driving faces a whopping fine. 

Bohdan Yashchuk, aged 44, of Prospect Place, Cirencester, was caught while driving a Honda Civic in Corinium Avenue, Gloucester on September 6 last year. 

Yashchuk pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates and was heard via the single justice procedure on Tuesday, June 4.

He was fined £200, ordered to pay a surcharge of £80 plus £90 in costs - a total of £370.

Six points were also added to his licence.
