A FISH and chip restaurant in Cirencester is celebrating National Fish & Chip Day with an homage to D-Day 80.
Malt & Anchor, a restaurant and takeaway on Castle Street, has decorated its venue with Union Jack bunting and flags.
As well as being the 80th anniversary of D-Day, today also marks National Fish & Chip Day.
Malt & Anchor is additionally celebrating D-Day 80 with a special deal.
The fish and chip shop is offering selected sauces and sides for 80p, with the deal valid for dine-in customers as well as takeaway customers.
“We will be offering all our customers curry sauces, mushy peas and famous ham hock and leek mushy peas plus more for 80p each,” said Jackie Wilkinson, senior waitress at Malt & Anchor.
The deal is available until tomorrow.
