AN EXCITING two-day event returns to Cirencester's vibrant town centre this weekend.

The popular Food & Lifestyle Festival - formerly known as Cirencester Food Festival - will take place in the Cotswold capital's bustling Market Place this Saturday, May 18 between 10am-6pm and Sunday, May 19 between 10am-4.30pm.

Organisers have promised that the highly anticipated event will satiate all tastes buds and will be bigger and better than ever.

Visitors will be able to indulge in sweet and savoury treats from a wide range of food stalls.

Last year there was a buzzing live cookery demonstration tent, a prosecco van, alcoholic tea tastings and lots of shopping opportunities.

Local bands and musicians also provided the perfect harmonious backdrop for the busy event.

The organisers are excited to welcome food lovers from across the district back to this wonderful culinary celebration.

Due to the size of the event, a road closure along the Market Place will be in place between 9am on Friday, May 17 until 11pm on Sunday, May 19.

Free parking will be available at Cotswold District Council offices and in the St James’s Place car park.
