Plans to build a bungalow in the garden of a Worcester house have been refused.
The city council has rejected proposals for a one-bedroom property within the garden of 5 Columbia Drive in Lower Wick.
Neighbours said there was insufficient car parking space in the area and raised concerns over a loss of privacy.
City planners said the proposed bungalow would have been an “incongruous, harmful and visually intrusive addition to the street”.
They also said it would have been unacceptable on the grounds of highways safety.
