AN ELDERLY woman has been injured after a serious crash took place in Lechlade this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and car in A361 Burford Street, Lechlade at 12pm on Friday, April 5.
An elderly woman is being assessed by paramedics after sustaining suspected serious injuries.
Road closures have been put into place on the stretch of road from Burford to Lechlade and Lechlade to Fairford while emergency services remain at the scene.
Motorists have been asked to avoid the area.
Anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police is asked to submit information by completing an online form on Gloucestershire police's website quoting incident 150 of April 5.
