TWO 21-year-old men from Cirencester who admitted assault and criminal damage appeared in court yesterday.
Jake Halford, of Springfield Road, Chesterton, and Ben Kilby, of Golden Farm Road, Beeches, were supposed to be sentenced at Gloucester Crown Court on Tuesday, March 26.
The pair previously admitted to assaulting another man causing bodily harm in Cirencester on August 4 last year.
They also pleaded guilty to damaging the victim's phone on the same date.
Halford appeared at Cirencester Courthouse with his advocate Lloyd Jenkins while Kilby was also present on a video link from Gloucester with his barrister Catherine Spedding on Tuesday.
However, no lawyer attended to represent the prosecution so Recorder Richard Mawhinnney adjourned the case until Monday, April 15.
Halford and Kilby were both granted bail until the next hearing but the Recorder warned that all sentencing options would be open to him.
