NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five popular establishments across Cirencester.
KFC in Bridge Road, Pizza Express in Castle Street and Coffee At Odd Socks in Elliott Road all received a five-out-of-five rating on Tuesday, March 5.
Meanwhile, award-winning fish and chip restaurant Malt and Anchor in Castle Street, Cirencester also received the top score after an assessment on Wednesday, March 13.
In addition, The Greyhound in Ashton Road, Siddington was handed a five-out-of-five rating on Thursday, March 14.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority.
The three areas which are inspected by a food safety officer are the food handling, the conditions of the facilities and the management of food safety.
