A MAN from the Cirencester area has been charged with sexually assaulting a young girl.
Lewis Davey, aged 51, is alleged to have sexually assaulted a girl who was under the age of 13 in May last year.
Davey, of Bowly Crescent, Siddington, has also been charged with observing a person doing a private act on the same day.
Cheltenham Magistrates Court heard the case yesterday, Tuesday, March 19.
The case was adjourned and Davey was released on bail with the condition not to contact the victim, until the next hearing which will take place at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday, April 11.
