A NAVY vehicle was seized by police officers in Fairford last week.

When Cotswold Police officers stopped the car in Hatherop Lane, Fairford on Tuesday, February 27 they discovered that the driver had no insurance, valid MOT or road tax for the vehicle.

The car also had a cracked windscreen, missing wheel bolts and a bald tyre.

A Tweet posted by Cotswold Police on Tuesday said: "No insurance, no MOT, no road tax, cracked windscreen, missing wheel bolts and a bald tyre.

"If PC Webb were playing bingo he'd have cried 'full house'.

"Vehicle has been seized and the driver was reported for summons."
