DELAYS are expected on key commuter route at the beginning of next week due to a road closure.
National Highways have warned motorists about an overnight A417 closure which starts on Monday.
The A417 northbound road between Burford Road and the Air Balloon Roundabout will be closed between 8pm on Monday, December 18 until 6am on Tuesday, December 19 so that repairs can be carried out.
Drivers should expect moderate delays between 10 and 30 minutes.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
Motorists have been asked to plan their journeys accordingly.
