A 16-YEAR-OLD boy from Cirencester has been charged with rape and sexual assault.
The defendant - who cannot be named for legal reasons - is alleged to have raped and sexually assaulted a young girl in Malmesbury between June 1, 2020 and August 31, 2020.
Swindon Magistrates' Court heard the case on Tuesday, November 21.
A plea was not entered so the boy has been released on unconditional bail pending another hearing at the same court on Monday, January 15.
