POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash.
A woman in her 70s was knocked off her bike by a silver saloon vehicle in Ponds Lane, Malmesbury at around 1pm on Monday, October 2.
She was helped by another motorist and spent 12 days in hospital where she was treated for a serious leg injury.
PC Charles Joseph of Wiltshire Police said: "This is a very concerning incident in which a woman in her 70s was knocked off her bike, and left injured by the side of the road.
"She was helped by another motorist and spent 12 days in hospital.
"She is still reporting a lot of pain.
"We have been carrying out a number of enquiries including watching through CCTV and are now seeking the help of the public for information that could help them piece together what happened."
