A MAN has pleaded guilty to attacking a police officer in Cirencester.
Max Heley, aged 32, of North Home Road, Cirencester, admitted assaulting a police officer in Cirencester on Saturday, September 16.
The case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, November 1.
A community order was imposed stating that Heley must participate in alcohol treatment for six months and participate in a rehabilitation activity for up to 10 days.
He must also carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
Heley was also ordered to pay £200 in compensation, must pay a £114 victim surcharge plus £85 in costs – a total of £399.
