AN ARREST warrant has been issued after a man from Cirencester failed to turn up to court.
Benjamin Savory, aged 29, of London Road, Cirencester, has been charged with burgling He Says, She Waffles - which is situated off Black Jack Street in Cirencester - and stealing £450 on December 2, 2021.
The court ordered Savory to enter a plea for this offence at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Monday, October 30, but he failed to turn up to the hearing.
Savory was also due to be sentenced for two other offences at the same hearing, both of which he has admitted.
On May 23, he stole three bottles of whiskey - worth a total of £186 - from the Corn Hall Deli in Cirencester.
He also breached a criminal behaviour order which banned him from entering the Corn Hall Deli on that day.
Police have now issued a warrant for his arrest without bail and the hearing will be rescheduled.
