A PUB in one of the most picturesque villages in the Cotswolds has been handed a new hygiene rating.
The Catherine Wheel - which is situated just off the B4425 in Arlington, Bibury - was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on Tuesday, September 12.
It means that of Cotswold's 119 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 95 (80 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority.
The three areas which are inspected by a food safety officer are the food handling, the conditions of the facilities and the management of food safety.
