COTSWOLD 'snob' and self proclaimed royalist is one of the housemates vying to win the £100,000 cash prize on the newest series of Big Brother.

Popular reality show Big Brother returned to our screens on Sunday night, October 8 after a five year break.

Among the line-up of 16 new contestants is 25-year-old food writer Henry from Toddington, which is just north of Winchcombe.

In his introduction video Henry said: "I'm Henry, I'm 25 years old, I'm a food writer from Toddington in the Cotswolds.

"I basically get paid to eat a lot and drink a lot.

"I went to boarding school, we had our beloved matron who would do our washing, leave our bedding at the end of our beds.

"I would love for there to be a matron in the house."

He also confessed that his parents would describe him as a snob, although he doesn't take this as criticism as he thinks it means he has high standards and good taste.

Henry also revealed in the VT that he voted for the Conservative Party in the last election because out of all the candidates Boris Johnson would be the person he'd want to go for a martini with the most.

He also shared his love for the royal family and said: "I think people who don't like the royal family should just leave the country, to be honest."

Before entering the legendary house Henry told new hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best that during his time on Big Brother he wants to spark some debates but also finally learn how to cook and clean.

This Cotswold royalist can be seen in action on Big Brother every night (bar Saturday) at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

The revived series is set to run for six weeks.
