COTSWOLD Lavender's owners have announced that this weekend is the last chance for people to visit the fragrant fields before the season ends.

This beautiful tourist attraction - located at Hill Barn Farm Cottage in Snowshill near Broadway - has been open to visitors since Wednesday, June 14 but will close after Sunday, August 6.

Cotswold Lavender is a family farm which has farmed the land for three generations over the last 60 years.

The lavender display field stretches over 70 acres with stunning views over Broadway and the Vale of Evesham and has been named one of the most Instagrammable places in the Cotswolds.

During the months when the lavender fields are closed to the public the family grow other crops including wheat, barley, beans and linseed.

Heavy rain over the last few days meant that the popular tourist attraction had to close all day yesterday (Wednesday, August 2) because the car park was saturated.

However, it is open to the public again today (Thursday, August 3) as the car park has dried significantly, but owners want visitors to be aware that certain areas such as the Beechwood Trail may be a bit muddy.

The fields will be open to visitors everyday for the rest of the week between 10am - 5pm.

Adult tickets cost £5.50, children's cost £2.75 and under 5's free.

The farm does not take bookings in advance so tickets must be purchased on arrival by card only.

Dogs on leads are welcome.

The Cotswold Lavender team will be posting regularly updates on their Facebook account about changes to opening times due to weather conditions over the next few days.
