TWO mysterious celebrities on a quest for antiques are coming to Cirencester later this month.

Teams from the BBC’s Celebrity Antiques Roadtrip will take part in an auction at The Cotswold Auction Company.

The saleroom is situated in Love Lane, Cirencester and the auction will start at 10am on Tuesday, July 25.

The show pairs an antiques expert with a famous celebrity from the entertainment world in two teams to scour the country for antique and vintage bargains which they later attempt to sell at auction.

They will then compete against each other to see who can make the biggest profit on their purchases.

All the proceeds from the celebrity’s sold items will then be donated to a charity of their choice.

Auctioneer Lindsey Braune said: “We are delighted to be welcoming two teams from Celebrity Antiques Road Trip to Cirencester.

“The Cotswolds has always drawn in antiques hunters from far and wide and is an ideal host for this iconic antiques show.

“The identity of the two celebrities and their accompanying experts is being kept secret until the teams turn up on the day, so we are all very excited to find out who we will be playing host to!”
