MORE than 100 guests attended a glamorous garden party to raise money for Cotswold Breast Cancer Now last week.

The popular annual fundraiser raised £2,500 and was hosted by interior designer and television personality Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen - best known for appearing on BBC programme Changing Rooms - and his wife Jackie.

The event was held in the couple's beautiful garden in Siddington on Thursday, June 8.

Cotswold Breast Cancer Now is a group of volunteers who run an array of fun fundraising events in aid of the UK's largest breast cancer research charity, Breast Cancer Now.

Guests turned up in their favourite floral attire and were ask to bring plants for others to buy.

They enjoyed gin cocktails, provided by Cotswold Distillery and Bottle Green Drinks, and canapes provided by mother and daughter catering company Chox.

Musician Pete Allen treated the party to live jazz music.

A spokesperson for Cotswold Breast Cancer Now said: "We would like to thank all the tasty local Cotswold artisan businesses who supported the event including Chloe Shiner and Greg Chappell from Woodchester Wine, Vicky Fletcher from Ambersweet Cakes (originally in a pop-up shop in the Waterloo, Cirencester and now a regular at Nailsworth Farmer’s Market), and Rob Gibson from Dolcetti Ice Cream.

"Future fundraising events include a fashion show in September (featuring a number of local boutiques) and The Snow Ball in November, which will both be held at Ingleside House in Cirencester."
