POLICE have urged residents to remain vigilant after reports of two thefts and a burglary in the Lechlade area.
A male unlocked the padlock of a building in Park End Wharf, Lechlade and gained access to a till (incident number 0126) at 10.22pm on Sunday, May 28.
A towel was placed over the CCTV camera at the Park End Wharf premises.
Number plates were also stolen from a vehicle parked in Faringdon Road, Lechlade (incident number 0353) between 5.30am and 8.30am on Saturday, May 27.
Officers have advised residents to secure their number plates by fitting them with theft resistant screws, which have a one way head.
Another offender walked up a driveway, smashed the passenger front window and stole a handbag (incident number 0468) in Eastleach near Southrop between 6pm and 8.45pm on Tuesday, May 30.
Police are asking anyone with any information about these incidents to contact them by quoting the referenced incident number on the Gloucestershire Police website.
