Telephone box Duntisbourne Abbots
A TELEPHONE box in Duntisbourne Abbots has been given a new lick of paint.
Resident Michael Chicken said: "This is the recently repainted telephone box in Duntisbourne Abbots.
"I wanted it repainted ahead of the coronation.
"I have been looking after the box since the parish took over responsibility from BT.
"The first repaint also required a significant overall in terms of new glass and new telephone signs but this last time has just required a good painting in traditional telephone box colours.
"My painter, Clinton from Cheltenham undertook the work and felt that he was treated as royalty by the villagers who kept him going with copious cups of tea."
