STRATTON House Hotel is embracing green with the installation of new electric vehicle charging points.
By 2030, the sale of combustion engines is due to end with predictions that Electric Vehicle's (EVs) will make up 20% of all cars on the road by that point.
Local hotel and spa, Stratton House Hotel is leading the way towards this transition to emission-free transportation through the installation of four top of the range EV charging points.
In partnership with Cirencester based, installation specialist, EvieLife, the chargers will be available 24/7 for the hotel's residents, guests and passers-by.
After initially agreeing on two 22kWh units, it became clear that the likely demand would require more, so this was increased to four 22kWh units which will allow visitors to rapidly charge their car while they enjoy the services at Stratton House Hotel.
Aidan Stevens, from Stratton House, said “As part of our green agenda and commitment to supporting our guests with easily accessible charging points, we are delighted to be one of the first hotels in the area to offer this service.”
Jon Cummins, joint founder of EvieLife, said “Linking up with Stratton House aligns with our strategy of supporting local community hubs providing residents and visitors with convenient points to charge their vehicles.”
