THE Royal Agricultural University had some very special visitors attend an important event this month.

Gloucestershire & District Agricultural Valuers’ Association (GDAVA) held an annual general meeting and dinner to celebrate the organisation's centenary at the university on Wednesday, March 15.

The GDAVA is one of the largest local associations of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) - which is the national specialist professional body representing, briefing and advising on agricultural and rural property and business matters across the UK.

In recognition of the milestone, members were honoured to be joined at the drinks reception and dinner by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.
