POLICE have launched an appeal following a report that hundreds of pounds worth of roses were stolen from a florist in Cheltenham.
A man allegedly placed an order for £465 worth of roses and told the employee that he had paid via bank transfer and showed confirmation details, which were later found to be fake, at around 4.30pm on Monday, February 13.
The employee raised concerns about the payment however the customer grabbed the flowers, walked out of the shop and did not return.
Police officers have released a CCTV image the man they would like to speak to.
Despite a number of enquires, investigating officers are yet to identify the man and are now asking for information from the public.
Information can be provided by completing an online crime information form on the Gloucestershire police website by quoting incident 185 of February 15.
