The Tetbury Dolphins Dramatic Society are delighted to present Noel Coward’s classic comedy Blithe Spirit, on 23rd, 24th and the 25th of March at the dolphins hall, new Church Street, Tetbury. Performances start at 7:30 pm.

Blithe Spiritis a comic play by Noël Coward, described by the author as “an improbable farce in three acts” Starring Ian Smith as Dr Bradman and Hannah Duncan as the classic Elvira. On March 25th Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre are excited to present, a special Spring Concert with Music for Miniatures, live Classical music for young audiences. They will be Two Shows. Show One starts at 10.15. Show Two starts at 1:30 Music for Miniatures presents baby-friendly concerts where there’s no need to sit still, dancing is encouraged, and everyone is welcome. 45 minutes of live classical music for you to enjoy with your little one. Although predominantly classical, they showcase a wide range of music – folk, world, classical, jazz, and have featured orchestral instruments, choirs and instruments from around the world. Suitable for ages 0 – 4 years and their grown ups. Music for Miniatures provides opportunities for children and their families to experience high quality live music. They give regular family concerts across B&NES, Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire, and visit schools to inspire, educate, excite and connect children with live music. On March 25th Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre are excited to present, The Rautio Piano Trio and Friends on March 25 performance begins at 7:30 pm - 9:45 pm. The Rautio Piano Trio has emerged as one of today’s finest chamber ensembles known for their refined and powerfully expressive performances. With a passion for performing 18th and 19th century repertoire on both modern and period instruments, they have developed a fresh and engaging approach to their interpretations of historical masterworks.The Trio has released two critically acclaimed albums with Resonus Classics and are frequently heard on BBC Radio 3. They have performed at the Wigmore Hall, Kings Place, South Bank, Bridgewater Hall, throughout the UK and in France, Austria and Germany. The Programme Beethoven ‘Pastoral’ Symphony No.6 in F major Op.68 (Transcribed for quintet by Jan Rautio) Schubert ‘Trout’ Quintet A major D.667 In a historically authentic tradition of repurposing compositions, pianist Jan Rautio transcribed Beethoven’s programmatic symphony, The Pastoral, for the same combination of instruments as Schubert’s immortal Trout Quintet. Composed when Schubert was 22, the quintet was inspired by the surroundings of a summer trip in the Austrian Alps and uses his earlier song ‘Die Forelle’ (’The Trout’, D550) for the basis for the beautiful fourth movement. One of the most popular chamber music pieces of all time, it was the centrepiece of the 1969 documentary featuring cellist Jaqueline Du Pré. They are joined by special guests Michele Bruil and Jan Zahourek.
