The Inspirational Pride of Tetbury Awards evening took place on Saturday March 11th at the Dolphins Hall, in fact even the presenter of this year’s awards Deputy Mayor Cllr Ann Pearce lived up to the inspirational ethos as she carried on regardless even though she was not well and even on oxygen! Presenting the winners with a simple certificate and a bottle of wine and a box chocolates or flowers, along with a few special glass presentation plaques.

The evening was a total success full of positivity good cheer and of course hope as groups, businesses and individuals came together to thank some of the many people who make Tetbury the wonderful town it is, and inspire so many of the things that happen in the town. Of course the awards are just the tip of the iceberg of the many many people who inspire us all. We all know someone who should win one of these awards. Even if a person did not win this time it will give us all the opportunity to talk and say thank you or you may just want to say to someone well I think you should’ve won one!

This a perfect way to carry on the ethos of the inspirational award to thank anyone. Perhaps you might even want to nominate someone for next years.
