VOLUNTEERS will be mending broken household items and fabrics at a repair café this weekend.
The Malmesbury Repair Café will open at 10am on Saturday, March 18 at the Library in Cross Hayes, Malmesbury.
They will be accepting items to repair until quarter past 11am.
Entry is free, however if the repair needs a small new part this may require a fee.
A spokesperson for the Malmesbury Repair Cafe on a Facebook post said: "Bring along all those household & textile items that are rusting or crumbling away in a corner and give them a new lease of life.
"Challenge our volunteers. Our goal is to make a positive impact on climate change as well as to reduce the amount of material going to landfill.
"If we can repair your item, we will take it in and invite you back for collection."
