Bathurst Estates are holding a community planting event at Cirencester Park next Saturday, February 18.
They are holding hourly planting sessions in their new 'Jubilee Community Arboretum' between 10am to 2pm.
They aim to plant over 900 trees.
The new arboretum wants to create a living legacy and tribute to Her Majesty and is part of a nationwide initiative called ‘The Queen’s Green Canopy’.
It will be open daily and is near The Old Kennels, the new dining hub Roots + Seeds Kitchen Garden and a new nature-inspired play area which is due to open Easter 2023.
St James’s Place are contributing to the spades and tools that will be passed to community groups, to ensure the benefits of the initiative extend beyond the Jubilee Community Arboretum.
