A FISH and chip restaurant has battered the competition to win a top award.
The Malt and Anchor in Castle Street, Cirencester, has been recognised by TripAdvisor as a 2022 Travellers' Choice award winner for casual dining.
The award celebrates businesses that have received great traveller reviews from diners around the globe on TripAdvisor over the last 12 months.
A Â TripAdvisor spokesperson said: "As challenging as the past year was, Malt and Anchor stood out by consistently delivering positive experiences to takeaway, delivery and eat in customers."
Malt and Anchor director Dan Lafford said: "We are absolutely overjoyed to have received this award.
"Like most businesses, last few years have been very challenging.
"To have been recognised for our efforts on a global platform has made us enormously proud.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our many loyal customers and hard working staff, without whom we would certainly not find ourselves in this position.''
