A Tetbury boy summed up the feelings of the town and the nation with his lovely tribute to the Queen.
Eight-year-old Alfie, who attends nearby Leighterton School, created his drawing and then placed it at the Highgrove gates.
Proud grandmother Rachel Hodges said: "My grandson Alfie really loved the Queen.
"It really shows that even the youngest children thought so highly of the Queen and are affected by her death.
"My son Christopher and his partner Seff have always loved the Queen and everything she stood for.
"He, like my late dad, always watched the Queen's speech on Christmas Day, Trooping the Colour and Remembrance Sunday and anything else that showed the Queen.
"So his children Hollie (14), Alfie and Miley(five) have known the Queen as a very important person and they've all been so upset at her passing.
"My grandchildren are also very excited that someone who they consider a neighbour is now the king of England and long may he reign over us."
