HUNDREDS of students have been celebrating at Katharine Lady Berkeley with their parents, teachers and school dog after outstanding A-level results.

Almost 20 per cent of all students achieved top marks of grade A* and almost half of all grades were between an A* and A.

Bright futures ahead

Acting headteacher, Hannah Khan said she was ‘delighted’ with this year’s results and that their students have ‘bright futures’ ahead of them.

“We are absolutely delighted with the A level results achieved by our year 13 students”, she said.

“Their results are testament to their determination and consistent hard work.

'We couldn’t be more proud'

“Our ethos is that a student’s approach will determine their success, and today, we have seen this reflected in the stunning grades achieved.

“It is lovely to see how many students have made outstanding progress and who can look forward to very bright futures.

“These students fully deserve their results. They have been wonderful ambassadors for the school and have supported each other through an extremely difficult year.

“It has been a pleasure to work with them and we couldn’t be more proud.”
