A Bourton woman has been accused of beating and mistreating a vulnerable person.
Sonia Abbott, of Robin Close, Bourton-on-the-Water is alleged to have ill-treated or wilfully neglected a woman who lacked, or whom she would have reasonably believed to have lacked, mental capacity.
The incident is said to have happened between November 14 and November 17 of last year.
Abbott, 32, has also been accused of beating the woman on November 15, 2021.
On June 6 of this year, Abbott pleaded not guilty to both charges.
A trial was due to take place on Monday at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court, but was adjourned. On Thursday a case management hearing will be held to determine if the defence are ready for a trial to begin the following Monday.
