A new bar has opened at Tierra and Mar in Cirencester.

The Sheep Street eatery, which was recently awarded Best Restaurant in the South West ad two AA Rosettes, have taken the decision to also open for drinks and nibbles with a short bar menu, created by head chef Brett Russell.

A counter area was added pre-pandemic as well as barrel seating by the door for those wishing to simply enjoy a drink or share some of the small plate bar options.

Tierra and Mar is run by husband-and-wife team, head chef, Brett Russell, 32, and front of house manager, Silvia Perez-Alcazar, 33.

Brett said: “We have always wanted to add a bar element, more casual dining element to the business. The pandemic stopped us doing it the first time and since the awards we have been extremely busy.

“We have created a some cocktails that compliment our shorter menu, we also have some great wines, obviously from Spain and some Spanish bottled beers.”

Tierra and Mar are open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. For more information or to book a table call 01285 642777 or email: info@ tierraandmar.co.uk
