A street party held in Cirencester to celebrate the Queen's jubilee has raised money for a local care home.

More than 130 people attended the Cecily Hill event on June 5.

Lord Bathurst presented 13 children with a Jubilee medal and £437 was raised for Paternoster House's amenity fund.

Cecily Hill resident Sheila Lloyd Graham has now presented a cheque to Paternoster House manager Hannah Forsyth.

"We are grateful for this donation which will benefit the residents with some extra activities. So many have been postponed over the last two years.

"A big thank you to Cecily Hill residents for their ongoing support," said Hannah.
