SEVERAL new hygiene ratings have been handed out recently in the Cotswolds.
The Old Prison at Fosseway, Northleach was given a four out of five score after an assessment on June 13.
Carl's Coffee at Summer Lake, Cerney Wick Lane, South Cerney was given a five after an assessment on July 5.
Cotswold Chimney Cake at GL8 was rated as five on July 5.
Fairford Bowling Club at East End, Fairford was rated as five on June 27
The Match Day Cafe at Tetbury Town Football Club, Cirencester Road, Tetbury was rated as five on June 27.
Star Bistro at the National Star College in Ullenwood Manor Road, Ullenwood was given a four after assessment on June 15.
The Duke Of Wellington in Sherborne Street, Bourton-On-The-Water, was given a four after assessment on June 16.
The Ali Baba Indian Restaurant at the Coach And Horses, Fosseway, Bourton-On-The-Water was rated as one on June 10.
The hygiene rating scheme is run by the Food Standards Agency in partnership with local authorities.
The scheme gives businesses a rating from five (hygiene standards are very good) down to zero (urgent improvement is required).
