Two choirs are joining forces for a special fundraising concert in Cirencester this weekend.
River of Song is taking place at The Parish Church at 7.30pm on Saturday.
Corinium Community Choir and Painswick Community Choir will perform a range of songs on the theme of water, with some even referencing local rivers.
Leader of both choirs, Sophie Sterckx, has brought them together for their 10th anniversary.
In March the two choirs held an impromptu concert for Saturday Market shoppers, in support of Ukraine, raising over £1,000 for DEC.
This time all proceeds from the event will go to The Rivers Trust and WaterAid, raising funds to help protect the UK’s rivers and river wildlife and to help provide safe access to clean drinking water for all people.
