Cirencester's first ever regular car boot is launching this weekend.
It is taking place at Watermoor Primary School on Sunday. Going forward it will be held on the first Sunday of the month between May and September.
The event is being organised by Cirencester Round Table, in an effort to give people a platform to make some extra money during the cost of living crisis while at the same time raising funds for local charities and good causes.
Sellers are welcome from 8am at a cost of £5 for cars and £10 for vans/trailers.
Buyers can enter from 8.30am, with voluntary donations encouraged.
Toilets and hot and cold refreshments will be available on site.
Posting about the event on Facebook, Cirencester councillor Claire Bloomer said: "A big thank you to Cirencester Round Table.
"For sometime I’ve wanted to create a car boot for Cirencester as I really believe it’s needed.
"I contacted the round table to see if they could help and wow they have certainly done that.
"Let's hope it’s well attended and these can become a regular event."
