A HOUSE filled with smoke after a grill pan set alight in a Worcestershire village.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews from Droitwich after reports of a grill fire in Oakfield Road, Omberlsey.

After the flames were out, firefighters made sure the home was properly ventilated.

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We mobilised two of our crews to attend the grill fire, but on arrival, the fire had already been extinguished so we sent one crew back.

"The crew that remained stayed to help ventilate the property due to the excessive amount of smoke.

"We departed the scene at approximately 5.02pm."
